Land Rover meet at The Motorist

Hi all, there was some talk a while back about organising a meet up at the Motorist café in Sherburn in Elmet, Yorkshire. They are having a specific LR day in October, if anyone wants to meet up and have a get together.

That sounds like a good idea, will there be a section/stand for DOC members or do we just turn up and park with other Land Rovers?

Hi Roy, nothing official, just a case of all turning up at the same time, or meet up somewhere before,
If we can get a good number to turn out, we could ask for a club section?

Sorry that you did not make it to the ‘Discovery’ pitch at the Land Rover Day.
I had a look at the land Rover pitch but there was only one there and several Range Rovers, Freelanders and Discoverys.
Eight exhibits made it to the Discovery pitch on the grass, six Discoverys, one Range Rover and a Honda Crossroad.
A very pleasant day sat in the sun with many visitors to chat to about the collection.
