EMPLOYEE 60TH CHARITABLE CELEBRATIONS
Land Rover is the main sponsor of GO 60, a project run by the Land Rover Employee Club to celebrate the 60th Anniversary on behalf of Land Rover Employees
London to Singapore – 17,183 miles in 60 days
In 1956 Land Rover enthusiasts completed an 18,000-mile drive from London to Singapore. They might have been the first to successfully complete the journey, but the GO 60 team will take great pride in repeating the feat with Discovery 3 and Defender vehicles in May, June and July 2008. The vehicles will become works of art in their own right en route by collecting the handprints of people encountered along the way. Sponsors of the event also have their logos added to the vehicles.
