Discovery 2 or 3

Post by Ex disco owner » Thu Feb 09, 2017 11:39 pm

Looking at buying a llandrover again . Need a reliable daily drive .wont get much off road use but need the 7 seats and would prefer 4 wheel drive and a green oval .
My question is do I buy late discovery 2 or early 3 , I have heard the early discovery 3 had some problems .
My pockets are not deep for frequent dealer repairs . Would rather do most of the maintenance myself .
I used to be a member on here when I had my discovery 1 but the less said about my unreliable rusty mpi the better , its long gone now .
So if you h ad say 10 k total would you buy discovery 2 low miles service history and keep the change towards the maintenance costs or go for a discovery 3

10K? Ive seen mintl low 2 for around £5K that ive been looking at. Do you really need to save £5K future repairs, if so think ill look elsewhere lol
