Brake Discs

Post by theshed » Sat Jun 30, 2018 6:54 pm

Thought I posted this already but not appeared so I apologise if it pops up twice.
I am about to replace the rear callipers on my TD5 as one has seized. Is there any benefit in fitting vented or 'performance' discs while I am at it ?
The front where replaced with standard about three years ago.
Price wise they are a bit more expensive than after-market solid discs and a little cheaper than OEM.
If that makes a difference to choice ? :?
Thanks

If you do a lot of heavy towing then fitting uprated discs to the front will help but standard solid discs on the back should be more than up to the job.

Just an update
I went with the standard Discs and am happy so far
Reasonable price and easy to fit.
