Hi,
I have a 200tdi that is chewing through alternator belts every thousand miles or so.
I have been using Bearmach ETC7469R belts so doubt it is a belt quality issue.
I have also filed down the pulleys so they have no sharp edges and checked they are in alignment.
The pulleys have a deep V shape and it would seem to me that a deep V belt would give more even wear. Is there a deep V belt available?
